Below is the description of the workflow for the food delivery module of iEatery:
Step 1: Order placed by customers through iEatery Consumer App
Step 2: Restaurant receives an order through the merchant app and either confirm/decline the order, upon accepting- assigns to the driver, prints out the online order, and the regular notification goes to the customer app.
Step 3: Restaurant ready with the order to be handed over to the delivery man and the customer receives notification ‘Order Dispatched’.
Step 4: Delivery man on the way to deliver and the customer will get status update for the delivery.
Step 5: When an order is delivered to the customer and the order status is changed to 'Delivered', the customer is asked to provide feedback through the app.
